Every city has its own music, the Bay of Hong Kong plays an international jazz contaminated with some oriental sounds' elements, likewise the bamboo flutes played by the winds coming from the rear hills, likewise the sound of the water of the sea.
Starting from this metaphysical approach, the aim of the project is to relate those invisible sounds and to produce an architectural relation that involves the different souls of the Hong Kong Bay.
The new architectural building links the vertical attitude of the tall buildings and the horizontal attitude of the landscape and the sea.
These aspects are melted together in an organic solution, specifically expressing the new object as the natural prosecution of landscape itself.
This practical but theoretical approach is oriented to produce a strong landmark not in contrast with the environment but filling the lack of dialogue between the landscape and the skyscrapers. In this way the new landmark gives voice to the genius loci and let it dialogue with a contemporary style of the architectural product.
